Manager – Planning & Projects (Finance)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare regular financial/operational analysis for the Group and the Division to keep management informed of business performance
  • Engage in regular business review by preparation of monthly Management Committee Meeting materials
  • Assist management reporting by preparation of quarterly Board Meeting materials for the Division
  • Perform financial forecasts for the fleet’s itinerary planning process, the new build projects and M&A opportunities through regular liaison with all relevant departments
  • Handle newbuild projects, including preparation of documentations, compilation of reports, analysis and project tracking
  • Interface with different business units and project teams and provide analytical supports
  • Drive initiatives such as corporation structure review, asset valuations, etc.
  • Engage in financial planning and business modelling for financial planning and external financing
  • Compile Board Memo to make recommendations on different opportunities and projects
  • Review contracts, documents and regulatory certificates to ensure compliance
  • Preform other ad-hoc financial/operational analysis as assigned, such as acquisitions and disposals of assets and competitor benchmarking analysis

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years’ experience in accounting/finance/business analysis field
  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science.
  • ACCA, CPA or CFA qualifications highly preferable. Legal knowledge would be a plus.
  • Previous experience/sound knowledge in Financial Modelling will be an advantage
  • Analytical mind, with excellent computer skills in SAP, Excel, Powerpoint and Power BI
  • Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Manager
